Tickets for the Beijing Games are sold out according to the official Beijing 2008 website.
By Saturday evening 16 of the 19 ticket booths that were selling the fourth and final phase of Olympic tickets to individuals, hung out sign boards reading “sold out”.
According to The News, tickets for popular sports like tennis and archery were sold out within hours the first day, said Wu Xiaonon, an official with a ticket booth near the Beijing Olympic Green Hockey Stadium. But Wu was quoted saying tickets for hockey, boxing and handball were still available, adding most tickets will probably be sold out by late Sunday.
