BHP Billiton, described as the world’s largest diversified resources company, has been named the Diversified Minerals and Medals Sponsor of the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
In line with the sponsorship agreement the company will provide financial support to the Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games, as well as the raw materials for the Olympic and Paralympic medals.
BHP Billiton will develop a comprehensive marketing program to further enhance the value of the sponsorship and to promote its support for the Olympic Games and BOCOG, according to Asia Pusle.
