It won’t be known until Friday May 24, just one week before the IOC’s deadline for applicant city’s to submit their questionnaires to the International Olympic Committee, whether or not Andorra la Vella will continue its bid for the 2010 Winter Games.
At a press conference Andorra’s minister Pere Cervos and Conrad Blanch, chief executive of Andorra’s technical committee, said although the technical committee has asked for nine more days to work on the preparation of the pre-candidature proposal, things were going in the right way.
Applicant cities must submit 50 copies of a questionnaire in English and French to the IOC by May 31.
