The organizing committee of the Athens 2004 Summer Olympic Games and Paralympic Games has signed a contract with the Italian company MONDO S.p.A. to support the track and field surfaces, provide track and field sports equipment for the Olympic Stadium, and support the volleyball surfaces for the Peace and Friendship Stadium at the Athens 2004 Games.
The total value of equipment and services amounts to 2.151 million euro.
The organizing committee, in exchange for the provisions of MONDO will concede the foreseen marketing rights for the use of Athens 2004 trademarks.
