The Hudson’s Bay Company (HBC) has signed an agreement in the amount of $100 million (Can.) with Vancouver 2010 to become its third Premier National Partner. The partnership runs from 2005 to 2012.
The agreement provides exclusive rights to HBC as the Official Department Store Partner and General Merchandise Retailer in Canada.
HBC will outfit volunteers for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Games and will also develop exclusive Olympic merchandise that will be available in official Olympic shops to be built in all HBC stores across Canada.
HBC will also become the Official Clothing and Luggage Supplier to the Canadian Olympic Teams for the 2006, 2008, 2010 and 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
