Channel News Asia reports that tickets for the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games are selling fast and the public is advised to book early.
Singapore 2010 organizers said Monday a total of 320,000 tickets went on sale last week and sports like swimming, diving and gymnastics are in demand.
Goh Kee Nguan, CEO of the 2010 Singapore Youth Olympic Games said, “Singaporeans actually make up 75 per cent of the ticket sales. Overseas we have about 10 other countries that have come in to buy most of the tickets. For diving, most of the tickets are not available anymore. For swimming more than 50 per cent of the tickets has also been taken up.”
