The first series of Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games merchandise will be ready for sale in the fourth quarter of 2009 following the appointment of Beijing Huajiang Culture Development Co. Ltd., (HONAV) as its Master Merchandise Licensee on July 3.
The company has extensive experience in developing licensed merchandise for sports retail, said a press release. It won the licensing rights to carry out research, design, manufacture and retailing of Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games merchandise categories such as collectibles, gifts and accessories, home furnishing, publishing, stationery, and office supplies.
Honav plans to operate at least two Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Stores and other retail outlets in Singapore.
Meanwhile Singapore 2010 and KhattarWong have signed an Official Sponsorship Agreement under which KhattarWong will be the Official Legal Services Sponsor for Singapore 2010.
Under the agreement the KhatarrWong’s Sports Law Practice Group will provide legal services and assistance on a wide range of subjects for the organization and management of the Games.
