PyeongChang 2018 announced Friday the appointment of Yang Chun Park, Chairman of the Korean Olympic Committee International Relations Commission, as Secretary General for International Relations for PyeongChang’s 2018 bid.
A PyeongChang 2018 press release says that in his new post Park “will use his vast international experience and knowledge to direct and coordinate the bid committee’s international activities and participate in various sporting events and conventions to promote PyeongChang’s bid to the world’s sports community”.
Yang Ho Cho, Chairman and CEO of PyeongChang 2018 said, “we are very pleased to have Mr. Park join PyeongChang 2018’s efforts. His expertise and insight will be a real asset for the bid committee and he will be playing a crucial role in communicating PyeongChang’s bid to the international sports community”.
