Munich 2018 Appoints Marketing Director

The Munich 2018 bid committee has appointed marketing expert and Olympic Games marketing specialist Stefan Bruckner as its new marketing director.

Bruckner has already advised on marketing concepts relating to the Olympic Games and sport in Germany, has had a variety of different roles with Deutsche Sport-Marketing (DSM), and will be joined by another DSM employee, Christiane Krauter, who will be involved in marketing the Munich bid locally.

Willy Bogner, CEO of Munich 2018 said of the collaboration, “with Stefan Bruckner and the DSM team we are bringing marketing experts on board who have extensive experience in the Olympic Games sector and who can give a further boost to the Munich 2018 bid in the world of business. Together we will bring the message of Munich’s friendly Games to an even wider audience”.
