Denver media reports that the Denver Olympic Exploratory Committee is to announce Wednesday it is recommending to the governor and the mayor to proceed with an Olympic bid, either for the 2022 Winter Games or the 2024 Summer Games.
A bid would be contingent on whether the U.S. Olympic Committee (USOC) decides whether the United States should go forward with a bid.
The USOC is meeting in California this week but there may not be a decision on a U.S. bid for a while.
