Annecy 2018’s Olympic bid committee officially submitted its bid book to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Monday led by the head of the French Olympic Committee, Denis Masseglia. The delegation included several sports personalities.
French businessman Charles Beigbeder, who will be appointed new leader of the bid on Monday, was not in the delegation.
The bid book includes detailed responses to an IOC questionnaire covering all major aspects of the bid such as sports venues, budgets, security, hotel accommodations and government support.
According to The Associated Press the bid budget was increased from $24 million to $26.4 million.
