Representatives from the three cities bidding to host the 2018 Winter Olympic Games – Annecy, Munich and PyeongChang – are in Acapulco, Mexico to make their first official presentations at the Association of National Olympic Committee’s (ANOC) assembly.
More than 1,000 delegates from over 200 countries will be there to listen to 20-minute pitches from the three bid cities who are officially unveiling their bids for the first time.
Doping issues and progress reports from the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Summer Games are also on the agenda.
A meeting of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) executive board will take place following the three-day assembly.
