Tokyo 2016 launched Friday an all-new animated website which they say will help visitors learn more about Tokyo’s unique plans to host the “most compact and sustainable Games ever, around the many attractions of Japan’s vibrant capital city”.
The website promotes the theme of the proposed Tokyo 2016 Games “Uniting Our Worlds” and showcases the difference experiences people from around the world have had in Tokyo, from introducing world-famous stories on glamorous boulevards to lesser-known curiosities tucked away on quiet side streets.
A special section on the site shows Tokyo-based international chefs appearing on video to introduce the culinary specialities they prepare each day in a city with 190,000 restaurants and bars. The Michelin Guide awarded Tokyo with the most stars of any city in the world in 2007 and 2008.
