EFE reports three out of four Spaniards, or 75.5 percent, believe that Madrid should host the 2016 Summer Olympic Games according to the latest survey. It’s reportedly an increase of almost 10 points from an earlier survey.
The poll was carried out May 11-19, six months after the previous survey. The respondents were over the age of 15.
According to Madrid’s Mayor 93.6 per cent of Spaniards said they would like some venues outside the city of Madrid.
