Madrid’s bid campaign for the 2016 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games has won one of Spain’s top international press awards.
The Club Internacional de Prensa announces that Madrid 2016 won one of the 2008 International Press Awards for “exceptional media relations work”.
The awards ceremony is taking place at Madrid’s Centro Cultural Conde-Duque on November 25.
The award will be presented to the bid committee by Spain’s Deputy Prime Minister and Government spokesman, Mario Teresa Fernandez de la Vega.
