International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge said Wednesday it was “good news that South Africa is thinking about the future after the World Cup and about the Olympics”.
He said, “so we’re glad that they’re thinking about the Olympic Games. I will definitely take this up with the president when I meet him at the FIFA World Cup final”.
Rogge is to meet with South African President Jacob Zuma in Johannesburg, South Africa for the final on July 11.
