Possible Tulsa 2020 Venue In Doubt

One of several proposals submitted to Tulsa city council for the development of the city’s west bank of the Arkansas River includes the development of a site as part of a possible Tulsa bid for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.

The site would include the Olympic stadium and parking, an Olympic park, Olympic and Native American sports museum, with a large statue, and a World Fit Olympic and River Parks walking trail.

Tulsa city council is now reviewing the proposal, but there are reports that all the proposals are now on hold.

Meanwhile, the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) said recently it is not considering a bid for the 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
