The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games now have a new sponsor. Edmonton-based EPCOR Utilities Inc. has signed up as a Tier-3 sponsor/supplier to the Vancouver 2010 Games.
The partnership includes Official Supplier rights to the Canadian Olympic Team for the Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010, and London 2012 Games.
VANOC now has three suppliers – Haworth, Workopolis and EPCOR. There are also two official supporters, The Royal Canadian Mint and the BC Lottery Corporation, along with six national partners, General Motors, Bell Canada, Hudson’s Bay Company, The Royal Bank, Rona and Petro Canada.
VANOC’s total sponsorship is now around $515 million and it hopes to raise up to $725 million.
