Ticket sales for the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Games, which went on sale Wednesday, are going quickly.
Caley Denton, Vancouver 2010 ticketing vice president, said downhill skiing, with seating capacity for 6,000, and the gold medal sledge hockey game, were the two most popular buys.
By the end of Wednesday organizers said there were just a couple of hundred tickets still available for the gold medal hockey game in the 7,200-seat University of British Columbia Thunderbird Arena.
There were 250,000 tickets made available for the Opening Ceremonies at B.C. Place and for the five sports – sledge hockey, alpine skiing, cross country skiing, biathlon and wheelchair curling.
