Vancouver 2010 opened the first and largest of the dedicated Olympic stores Thursday that are scheduled for the Vancouver airport. The 1,300 square foot store will serve as the flagship location at Vancouver’s airport.
The store incorporates design elements of the Vancouver 2010 brand and features apparel and merchandise including a variety of luggage and accessories, jewellery, umbrellas, products for pets, and sunglasses. There are also collectibles such as pins and key chains, and apparel for men and women.
The Vancouver 2010 mascots, Miga, Quatchi and Sumi, have a wall of merchandise.
Prices range from $7.99 for souvenirs to $350 for premium items.
Four more Olympic stores are to be opened by early October of this year in both the Domestic and International terminals of the airport. They will be open seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
