The Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games announced a new partnership Thursday with Haworth Inc., a global industry leader in sustainable modular interiors and adaptable workspaces. Under the terms of the new agreement Haworth becomes the first official supplier of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The six-year Official Office Furniture Supplier designation provides Haworth with sponsorships rights within Canada for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games, including sponsorship rights for the Canadian Olympic Team for Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010 and London 2012.
Under the agreement Haworth will provide modular furniture and architectural interiors, and additional support services for VANOC’s new Campus 2010 headquarters in Vancouver such as installation, project and planning and furniture modifications, as well as future VANOC opportunities.
