Ignacio del Rio, head of Madrid 2012, met with the Secretary Generals of Working Commissions and the UGT of Madrid to provide details of Madrid’s 2012 bid.
It’s part of Madrid 2012’s plan to provide information to all of Madrid’s society about Madrid’s Olympic bid.
The officials of the associations said they were very positive about Madrid’s bid and would support Madrid’s candidacy because it “affects the citizens and the workers of the capital”.
Francisco Javier Lopez, Secretary General of the union, guaranteed all the necessary cooperation for the bid as far as institutional participation and technical collaboration.
