Experts from the United States and China met for two days in Washington Thursday and Friday where the United States offered to provide expert advice on security ahead of the 2008 Olympic Summer Games.
A joint statement issued by the two sides said, “the United States offered to provide expert advice and assistance on event security… There will be a number of expert-level dialogues on this side and other subjects between the two countries in the coming months”.
