The Greek newspaper Kathimerini reports that U.S. State Department spokesman Richard Boucher expressed the department’s faith in Greece organizing a safe Olympics next year
He was responding to a report on Athens 2004 Security in a Greek daily newspaper that said U.S. experts had found Greece was not prepared for a possible attack using weapons of mass destruction.
Boucher said, “we have every faith that Greeks have the will and the ability to organize a safe Olympics”. He added that such reports are published in newspapers almost daily.
