The Royal Bank of Canada is climbing on the bandwagon by becoming a gold sponsor for Toronto’s 2008 Olympic bid.
The sponsorship, valued at between $500,000 and $1 million, will help fund Team 20008, which is made up of current and former athletes promoting the bid.
Meanwhile, the Toronto Star reports that the Toronto Olympic Bid Committee will host a candidate city acceptance party on August 30, a day after the bid city finalists are announced.
