TO-Bid has announced that it will release its 600 page bid book on-line and on CD-Rom on Thursday morning. The bid book, a detailed written presentation of the bid that was sent to the IOC in January, has been kept under wraps until now to maintain a competitive advantage over the other bid cities.
Paris released it’s bid book on-line last week shortly before their IOC evaluation committee visit, but after the other bid cities had been visited. The timing of Toronto’s release after the final Paris visit is clearly strategic. The bid cities will not have an opportunity to meet with the IOC from now until their final presentation in Moscow on July 13.
