Toronto’s 2008 Olympic committee will be handing over Toronto’s official candidature file (bid book) to its official messengers at a ceremony Friday January 12, at 11 a.m. at Toronto’s CN Tower, Look-Out Level.
John Bitove, President and CEO of TO-2008, Carol Anne Letheren, CEO, Canadian Olympic Association, Sandra Levy, Olympian and Chair of the Olympic Village Committee, and John Cartwright, Business Manager, Toronto-Central Ontario Building and Trades Council, will all be in attendance.
The bid book will then be delivered to the International Olympic Committee in Lausanne Switzerland.
On Monday January 15, at 11 a.m. there will be a briefing on the bid book to the City Economic Development Committee at Toronto’s city hall by members of TO-2008, including David Crombie, Chairman, John Bitove, and Karen Pitre, senior Vice-President of the bid committee.
