The Dutch news agency ANP reports that the NOC*NSF, an umbrella organization of the national Olympic committee and other national sports federations, is starting an investigation into whether its feasible for Holland to bid for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
There are plans to establish a working group called “Olympic and Paralympic Games 2028”, composed of representatives from sports, municipalities, government and business.
The NOC*NSF has asked for a final report by the end of December, and together with members of the working group there will be discussions with the International Olympic Committee (IOC), Dutch IOC members, various governmental departments and cities, as well as with national Olympic committees of nations that have already bid for the Olympic Games.
