Stock-Sport (skittles on ice) could be added to the 2006 Winter Games in Turin Italy as a demonstrative discipline.
The president of the CONI, Giovanni Petrucci, recently wrote to IOC president Jacques Rogge requesting the addition.
FISG president Giancario Bolognini, has met with officials of the German and Austrian federations and the president of the International Federation of stock-sport, to ask for recognition of the sport and its admission to the Olympic Winter Games.
Stock-Sport is played in 32 nations with world and European Championships.
