The fifth annual SportAccord convention will be in Beijing in 2007. It’s the first time the event will be held in China. Previous host cities for SportAccord include Madrid, Lausanne, Berlin and this year Seoul.
The dates for SportAccord 2007 will be released by the end of the week on the SportAccord Web site along with a round up of the news from the Seoul convention.
SportAccord is a once-a-year opportunity for the commercial sector to meet with the sports movement, bidding cities and organizing committees to learn, network and do business.
The convention includes open conference sessions, workshops, seminars, scheduled networking opportunities and an exhibition, all scheduled around the Associations’ meetings.
This year’s event in Seoul was attended by 900 delegates who were addressed by speakers selected from the most influential people in world sport.
For the first time the SportAccord sessions will be available over the Internet and visitors to SportAccord.com will have the opportunity to purchase and view any or all of the sessions.
