South Korea’s President Roh Moo-hyun will be at the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) meeting in Guatemala July 1-5 to support PyeongChang’s 2014 Winter Olympic bid and to address the IOC.
In a speech the day of the vote, July 4, Roh said Sunday he will “declare the government’s active support”.
Russian President Valdimir Putin and Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer have also confirmed that they will be attending the bid presentations to support their respective nations’ bids.
