Sofia’s Mayor Boyko Borisov has asked the Bulgarian government to enact a law for Sofia’s 2014 Winter Olympic Games bid, reports the Focus News Agency.
According to the mayor Bulgarian members of Parliament must put in place the legal framework to cover the government’s rights and obligations for the Bulgarian Olympics.
Borisov said, “there must be voted a law, but with Parliament’s decision, that Sofia and Bulgaria will host 2014 Olympic Games. Then everything that must be done will be done. The government will include in the budget the sums needed for our candidature”.
