Sochi 2014 organizers conducted a seminar for the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) global partners on Monday as part of its marketing program.
Taking part in the seminar were representatives from Sochi 2014, the Sochi Administration and the Olimpstroy State Corporation, as well as representatives of the IOC’s TOP partners including Samsung, Panasonic, Omega, Acer, Coca-Cola, McDonald’s and Visa.
Igor Stolyarov, Sochi 2014 Vice President for Marketing, Commercial operations and Communications, shared the Sochi 2014 Games concept and its vision for realizing its commercial objectives through giving “unique” commercial and marketing opportunities to Russian business, said a Sochi 2014 press release.
Participants also discussed issues related to Olympic law, brand protection, and Sochi 2014’s education programs.
Anna Kozlovskaya, Coca-Cola Public Affairs and Communications Director said, “the seminar has given us insights into Sochi 2014’s innovative marketing and commercial programs which are bringing new opportunities to TOP sponsors. We will also do our best to make Sochi 2014 the most impressive and beneficial Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games yet”.
