Sochi 2014 organizers have revealed 13 cartoon candidates which could become mascots of the Sochi Winter Olympic Games. Will they include a bear, a rabbit, a snow leopard, Santa Claus, or none of the above?
The winners will be revealed February 26 following a public vote.
The characters, introduced to the country Monday on state-run Channel One television, included traditional figures such as a polar bear and a brown bear, a bullfinch, a dolphin who uses his flippers to throw a curling stone, Russian nesting dolls, and Ded Moroz – the Russian equivalent of Santa Claus.
