A five-member delegation of the Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games Bid Committee is in Lausanne Switzerland this week to participate in an International Olympic Committee (IOC) workshop for 2010 Youth Olympic Games candidate cities. The workshop is taking place September 18 and 19.
Teo Ser Luck, Parliamentary Secretary for Community Development, Youth and Sports, is leading the delegation as an advisor to the Singapore Bid Committee.
Teo said during the coming months Singapore will present its bid and showcase why it is the best city to host the Youth Olympic Games.
Singapore’s bid has the full support of IOC member Ng Ser Miang and the bid committee is working closely with Ng on the bid, which it says includes “innovative and exciting proposals”.
