Beijing’s Olympic Committee has selected seven songs as candidate theme songs for the 2008 Summer Olympic Games.
An evaluation committee made up of musicians and experts chose the songs from 305 entries received since April.
Beijing 2008 will continue to invite entries on an annual basis until the end of 2007. About ten songs will be chosen each year.
