A special cultural program is being planned to run parallel with Scotland’s bid to host the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
Culture minister Patricia Ferguson and Glasgow City Council leader Steven Purcell will meet with representatives later this month from the world of music, dance, theatre and art.
They hope to generate ideas to support Glasgow’s 2014 Commonwealth bid.
