Juan Antonio Samaranch, in Sydney for the Paralympic Games, said that he fully believed the Chinese had the ability to host a wonderful Games.
“I am sure Beijing can get the Games and they would present a wonderful Games. I am sure they will. I do know the Chinese very well”.
Samaranch added “but as you know it is not easy. There are five candidates. The final decision will be made in July in Moscow”.
