Salzburg 2014 held its inaugural and constitutional meeting Monday. The 17-member board includes Salzburg’s Mayor Heinz Schaden, who says he is firmly committed to the Olympic ideal, according to a Salzburg 2014 press release.
Governor Gabi Burgstaller and her two deputies represent the Government of Salzburg.
The board also includes other experts from the venue specific regions of the state.
Wilfried Stadler of the Republic of Austria, a renowned expert of financial politics, will bring his experience and know how to the non-executive team.
