Salzburg 2010’s General Director Egon Winkler called Salzburg’s bid plan for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games a compact draft plan.
Salzburg’s Mayor Heinz Schaden said he was very satisfied with Salzburg’s presentation Thursday before the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) board of directors, judging by the expressions on their faces. But he added that it was still an open race between all three candidates.
Winkler called Salzburg the prettiest city in the world and said that Salzburg was ready to present the best application to the IOC in Prague on July 2.
