The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) reports that International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Jacques Rogge is to visit Canada January 31 to February 3.
According to the CBC Rogge will make stops in Montreal Quebec, Vancouver and Whistler British Columbia. It will be his first visit to Canada since Vancouver was elected host city for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.
Rogge is to meet with Vancouver 2010 officials to discuss the progress made for the 2010 Games. He will also meet with government representatives and tour 2010 Olympic venues in Vancouver and Whistler.
