Meanwhile Salzburg 2014 reports that various journalists from Korea and Russia, Salzburg’s competitors for the 2014 Winter Games, have visited the Salzburg 2014 bid office and others will be in the city in the next week.

Visiting journalists are given a tour of Salzburg 2014 venues if requested, accompanied by members of the bid team, and have been given assistance including the provision of lift passes, ease of access, etc. organized by Salzburg 2014.

Alexandra Knoke, International Media Coordinator for Salzburg 2014 said, “the visit by the IOC Evaluation Commission is already generating active interest on the part of the media. We look forward to welcoming journalists here to report on this visit”.
