Paris officials have changed their plans on holding gymnastics in the historic Grand Palais if they win their bid to host the 2008 Olymics.
According to Norbert Bueche, secretary-general of the International Gymnastics Federation, agreement has been reached to stage the events in a new 25,000 seat arena to be built in the north-east of the city.
The Grand Palais, in central Paris, can only hold 7,000 spectators.
