New York 2012 announced that a New York City-based interactive agency, R/GA, has been chosen as the bid’s agency of record.
The agency has redesigned New York 2012’s home page. The new page features the line “Imagine the Olympic Games in New York City” and is designed around the concept that New York City is a mirror of the world community, while conveying the city’s enthusiasm for a chance to host the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
Meanwhile Leipzig 2012’s Web site is getting a new address www.leipzig2012.de. Dirk Tharichen, manager of Leipzig 2012, said the new address is in line with other bid cities.
Tharichen added that Leipzig’s Web site will be updated in content and graphics later this year, with Spanish to be added to the site.
