GamesBids.com has learned that a local New York Website, Hells Kitchen Online – has obtained and posted the New York 2012 bid candidacy file online and in full. The Website, which reports critically on local government issues, claims the document is genuine.
It is not believed that the New York bid committee has released this document to the public – normally the information it contains is kept confidential between the bid city and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC). The committee would likely want to keep it out of competitors hands and the USOC may have concerns that information would be of value to international competitors should New York become the USOC selection in November.
