A specially enacted law has eased the issuing of rental contracts and construction permits leading up to the Turin 2006 Winter Olympic Games.
Piedmont officials say they are confident enough accommodation will be available for visitors at the 2006 Games.
New hotels are already being built near the different mountain venues of the Olympics. About 13 new hotels and 13 residential complexes have already benefited by the new law which will accommodate around 3,000 more visitors.
