Another day, another Olympic bid announcement. Sportl.de reports that Moscow announced Monday it has officially applied to bid for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games.
Leonid Tjagaschjow, President of Russia’s Olympic Committee said, “I believe Moscow would be a very good choice for the Olympic movement and I would call our chances very good”.
France is expected to announce an official bid on Wednesday.
