Moscow will present its new Web site at a press conference to be held April 21 at the State Pushkin Museum.
Valeri Shantsev, Deputy Moscow Mayor and head of Moscow’s Bid Committee said, “hosting the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Moscow will accelerate the country’s transition to democracy and will emphasize its role in the commonwealth of the states of the world”. He said the new Web site would raise awareness of Moscow’s bid.
He added that Moscow’s plan shows the maximum use of sport facilities in Moscow. Eighty per cent of the Olympic sport facilities are already operational.
The Web site was created using the most advanced computer technology.
