Madrid’s Mayor Alberto Ruiz-Gallardon and Feliciano Mayoral, head of Madrid 2012, are to announce Monday a campaign to promote Madrid’s bid for the 2012 Summer Games.
The city’s buses, vehicles, taxis, railway platforms, restaurants, sports clubs embassies, and buildings are to take part in the campaign to show members of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) evaluation committee that they support Madrid’s 2012 bid when they visit the city next month.
During the campaign the bid’s promotional video will be shown. It has already been distributed to hotels around the city.
