Madrid’s motto for its 2012 Summer Olympic Games bid is “Ready for You” and Madrid Mayor Alberto Ruiz-Gallardon says it’s “a clear motto that summarizes the collective effort of our city and the whole Spain in order to offer the best project”.
The campaign started Monday and bid promotions include 45,000 posters, 280,000 city’s stickers and numerous flags and decorations with Madrid’s motto that will embellish main streets, stores, buses, taxis, hotels, buildings and monuments in the city.
Ruiz-Gallardon has said he is sure that Madrid is ready for the International Olympic Committee’s (IOC) evaluation visit next month and that is the reason why “we want to show them that our infrastructures are prepared”.
